Informal Budget Committee Meeting (D.8), 6 – 7 March 2008

At Brdo Castle, the Committee will discuss the management of social funds, implementation of the budget and the financial administration of the EU institutions and other users of EU funds. The follow-up programme includes a visit to commercial and cultural facilities cofinanced by the European Communities. The Committee will visit the Hotel Jezeršek in Cerklje, where they will become acquainted with the area’s tourist attractions. In the Carthusian Monastery at Žiče, one of the oldest monasteries in Europe, there will be a visit to the exhibition on the renovation of this important cultural heritage site.
